Both platforms are highly customizable and stack up evenly. Monday.com does come with more pre-built products and templates that are customizable, while Asana’s platform offers custom task templates as well. 

Monday.com’s reporting is somewhat limited for lower-tier packages with activity log tracking for one week for free and basic plans. Whereas Asana offers a much more robust suite of tracking and reporting features on their paid plans, including their lowest-cost starter plan. 

Asana’s customer service is a step below Monday.com, with 24/7 support only offered for Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans. However, unlike Monday.com’s free plan users do have access to customer support. Monday.com’s paid plans provide a more comprehensive customer support experience, with all paid plans receiving priority support. 

Monday.com is a great project management software for small businesses, startups, and enterprises. The platform offers a robust suite of features, top-tier customer service, and easy-to-use workflows that can increase productivity. However, for solopreneurs or single founders looking for a more comprehensive free plan, this may not be the ideal solution.
